http://unlocked-wordpress.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/2013/11/FL_Unlocked_Air_Jordan_1_Retro_95_Cool_Grey_01.jpg

Over the past few months, Jordan brand has been introducing their new "Elements" Collection, where they've taken their most iconic designs and inspirations and mashed them together to give you a new breed of retro. We've seen the original Air Jordan 1 get an '89 Retro 4 makeover and now the iconic 1 gets a '95 Retro 11 makeover. First released were the iconic "Bred" and Concord" patterns and now one of the other most popular color schemes, the "Cool Grey," takes centerstage. Taking it's cues from the Air Jordan 11, there are numerous features incorporated into the classic Air Jordan 1 silhouette. Patent leather is featured across the entire toe box, while Cordura material takes care of the rest of the upper. Carbon fiber appears on the original Air Jordan wing logo on the ankle while the Greek letter Jumpman logo appears across the tongue. The shoe's heel features the same stylized font "23″ that appears on the XIs.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro '95 "Cool Grey" drops this Saturday, November 9th at House of Hoops by Foot Locker and Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 a.m. EDT) for $130. Check the Launch Locator to see which stores will have these releases and let us know what you think of these new kicks in the comments.

Inspired by two of the most popular retros of all time, the newest Jordan 1 Retros are the Air Jordan 1 Retro '95 TXT "Bred/Playoffs" and "Concord." Taking it's cues from the Air Jordan 11, there are numerous features incorporated into the classic Air Jordan 1 silhouette. Patent leather is featured across the entire toe box, while Cordura material takes care of the rest of the upper. Carbon fiber appears on the original Air Jordan wing logo on the ankle while the Greek letter Jumpman logo appears across the tongue. The shoe's heel features the same stylized font "23" that appears on the XIs. Both pairs of Retro 1 '95's feature the soles that accompany their Retro XI counterparts, with the "Playoffs" featuring a true red outsole and the "Concord" showing off an icy blue one.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro '95 TXT Pack "Bred/Playoffs" and "Concord" will drop House of Hoops by Foot Locker, and online at Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 a.m. EDT) for $130 apiece on Saturday, October 5. Air Jordan 8 Retro "Playoffs"

June 28th, 2013 Posted by: Teddy 'Roo

Six years since its first retro release, the Air Jordan Retro 8 "Playoffs" returns. This particular colorway of the Retro 8 has major significance in basketball history because Michael Jordan wore this exact colorway when he completed his first three-peat with the Chicago Bulls. The "Playoffs" colorway features black durabuck all around the upper and the 8's iconic graphics on the panels near the heel and inner lining. The red Jumpman on the neoprene tongue is surrounded by the chenille material exclusive to the Retro 8. On the outsole, all four colors used sparingly on the upper are prominently displayed.

The Air Jordan Retro 8 "Playoffs" will be available Saturday, June 29th at House of Hoops by Foot Locker, Foot Locker and Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 a.m. EST) for $160. Check the Launch Locator to see which stores will have this release and take a look at the detailed photos below.

Jordan Retro XI "Bred"

December 21st, 2012 Posted by: King Cobra

Today, Friday, December 21st, the Jordan Retro XI "Bred" official releases at House of Hoops by Foot Locker, Foot Locker and online at Footlocker.com for $185. Michael Jordan originally debuted the Air Jordan XI during the Chicago Bulls record setting 1995-1996 season. After leading the Bulls to an NBA-record 72 wins that year in the Air Jordan XI "Concord," MJ broke out the black and red or "Bred" colorway exclusively for the playoffs. The new colorway did nothing to jinx his game however, as he averaged nearly 31 points a game en-route to being named NBA Finals MVP and leading the Bulls to their fourth NBA title in five years. Today, the "Bred" colorway gets retroed for the third time (2001 and 2008 were the others) and will be released in full men's and kids size runs. For more shoe pics and a gallery of MJ in "Breds" see below.

UPDATE (12:00 p.m. EST) – We are officially SOLD OUT online in all sizes.

Nike Air Flight One "Black/White"

October 3rd, 2012 Posted by: King Cobra

http://unlocked-wordpress.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/2012/10/MJ4.jpg

Many would argue that Penny Hardaway has the second best signature line of shoes behind only Michael Jordan. Today, we take a look at the one shoe that links these two shoe legends together – the "Black/White" Nike Air Flight One. Releasing today for $120 at House of Hoops by Foot Locker, select Foot Locker stores and Footlocker.com, the Air Flight One has a significant place in sneaker history, as the only game MJ wore another players' shoes in history.

After a stellar first season with the Magic, Penny was suddenly thrust into the spotlight as the face of Nike Basketball thanks to MJ's (first) retirement. During the 1994-95 season, Penny debuted the Air Flight One, the unofficial first sneaker in his signature line. Although the shoe did actually have his name on it nor the traditional Penny "One Cent" logo, the shoe did have has jersey number on the heel tab, although that could be misconstrued as being an extension of the shoe's name. Later on that season, Jordan returned to the league and debuted the legendary Air Jordan XI during the 1995 NBA Playoffs; however, the NBA was not about to let him wear the "Concord" colorway for Game 3 of their series against Penny and the Magic because it did not match his team's black shoes. In a last second switch, Jordan opted to wear Penny's Air Flight One, although he famously cut off the "1" on the heel tabs. Jordan would go on to score 40 points in a loss for the Bulls but the game lives in infamy as the only time he wore another players' shoes in a game.

Although we've seen other colorways retroed on this silhouette, the original black/white colors remain widely popular because of its unique place in sneaker history. You can pick up a pair starting today at House of Hoops by Foot Locker, select Foot Locker stores and Footlocker.com for $120. Find more photos and a link to buy after the jump, and let us know if you'll be picking up a pair and where you think this shoe ranks in sneaker history.

Nike Kobe VII "Away"

May 19th, 2012 Posted by: Teddy 'Roo

With all the Nike Kobe VII releases it's hard to believe that an "Away" colorway hasn't dropped yet. Today, May 19, the Kobe VII "Away" will finally release. The Kobe VII "Away" is a black/concord/dark grey/white colorway. Concord actually makes up most of the shoe's upper but it is overlapped by a black skin that gives the show a pretty unique look depending on what angle you see it from. The back of the midsole and supporting heel arch are white with dark grey accents on the front part of the midsole and tongue. The Swoosh and Kobe brand logo are white.

The Nike Kobe VII "Away" will be available for $140 at House of Hoops and Foot Locker locations, as well on Footlocker.com starting at 8 am EST. This shoe will also be available in kids sizes. Contact your local store to find out if they will be carrying the release.

Nike Zoom Kobe VII "Home"

March 29th, 2012 Posted by: Teddy 'Roo

Though he's been wearing them on court for a couple of weeks now, Kobe Bryant's signature shoe has not released in a Lakers home colorway. That's about to change. The white, Laker gold, and concord Kobe VII hits stores and Footlocker.com on Saturday, March 31. Though it is one of the more simple colorways to be released for the Kobe VII, it is one that basketball, and especially Lakers fans will appreciate. Previous releases of the Kobe VII have had yellow in them but never Laker gold.

The Kobe VII "Home" will cost $140 and will have a midnight release online at Footlocker.com. Store releases will follow regular Saturday hours.  Click here for a link to buy at midnight.

Hottest Month Ever Media Day @ MSG

February 9th, 2012 Posted by: Teddy 'Roo

To kick off the Hottest Month Ever, Foot Locker invited media and Foot Locker VIPs to sample some of our newest product on the hardwood at Madison Square Garden on February 2.  Check out some photos from the event.

Guests enter the visitors locker room at Madison Square Garden.

One team got hooked up with the adi Rose 2.5 on its release day. NBA branded socks, Derrick Rose signature shorts, and Mission Court and Power Grip were also provided.

Half of one team wore the Nike Lebron 9 "Free Gum" with Lebron brand socks and shorts.

The other half of the team sported the Kobe VII System "Concord" with Kobe brand shorts and Nike Elite socks.

Finishing up some last second preparations before the game tips off.

Foot Locker VIP Jade Richardson gets introduced in front of a sellout crowd at the Garden.  "Literally a breath taking event that a VIP member will never forget," said Richardson, "An amazing experience to play on the court at [the] mecca of basketball."

The guys from Mission were hard at work during timeouts, reapplying Court Grip to those in need.

Madison Square Garden – #HottestMonthEver

Former Knick and guest coach, Charles Smith, took halftime as an opportunity to talk some trash over the PA system.

Dallas Penn of DallasPenn.com plays cameraman, reporter, and Court Grip endorser while taking a breather.

Point guard and Sports Illustrated Kids Writer, Sachin Shenolikar, scans the floor as he brings the ball up the court.

Editor-in-Chief of Maxim, Dan Bova, conducts an in-game interview during the second half.

Former Knick and St. John's alumni, Mel Davis, looks on as he coaches his team to a blowout victory.

Editor-in-Chief of SLAM Magazine, Ben Osborne, wasted no time – conducting his post game interview on-court.

A great day of basketball was commemorated at center court, just hours before the Knicks tipped off against the Bulls.

The February releases awaited guests for the post-game event.

Mint dropped off a shoe care station, fully stocked with their newest premium shoe care products.

It's never a bad time to freshen up the kicks.

Hottest tees to go with your hottest kicks.

Here are 18 of more than 40 releases that are a part of Foot Locker's Hottest Month Ever.  Can you name them all?
